Brief Description: A reddish brown she-cat with a pale fluffy chest and a soft face with amber eyes.

Breed: Domestic Mediumhair Mix || American Shorthair - 42% | Abysinnian - 28% | Unknown - 30%

Body Type: Cricketsong is an averagely sized warrior, if on the small side for height and has a sturdy build made to look even fatter due to her thick fur in some places. Despite her healthy size however, Cricketpaw's body is rather sensitive and delicate, easily hurting herself from small falls or trips.
Scars: x x x

Fur Description: Cricketsong's fur is super soft and fluffy, ruffling in places such as her neck to make her seem even larger than she is. It easily sticks up and only lies flat along her back and tail which looks similar to her brother Robinwing's long sleek tail. With age it has grown out a little in length and thus in places is a little sleeker and weighed down.

Height: 21cm
Eyes: Cricketsong's eyes are large and have a burnt amber hue.
Scent: She smells mostly of camp, flowers and moss.
Voice: Soft, quiet, and slightly musical in tone

:purplebutterfly: Biography :purplebutterfly:

:purplebutterflybullet: Before Birth :purplebutterflybullet:

Chestnut and Kestrel were not perfect, but they were something. They met when they were adults and hunting. Bumping into each other close to the Oakclan border and causing quite a ruckus as Chestnut was yelling over the fact that he was attempting to steal her prey from the area. Kestrel was not one to argue. He was a passive polite tom who did what he was told, thus, he apologized to the she-cat despite doing nothing wrong. Their first meeting was nothing eventful, and the two parted ways, the tom agreeing not to hunt on "Her land". However, the winter was harsh and the tom was hungry. Soon he found himself venturing farther and farther away from where he used to hunt and deeper and deeper into Chestnut's territory. The she-cat did not agree to such intrusion and asked the now skinny tom to explain himself. He was hungry and cold, and was surely going to die. He didn't want to trespass, but he had no choice. Chestnut hesitantly invited him back to her nest in an abandoned fox burrow where they could be warm. The next couple of days the two began to grow closer and finding out they had a lot more in common then they would let on in their first meeting. Both of them were trying to escape the rogue group that was near Oakclan. They bonded for a couple of weeks before Chestnut found herself pregnant with kits they did not intend. Only a couple moons before the snow melted, too. She told the tom, who was a bit shocked at the news but decided to stay and help raise a family. Kestrel was never one for kits, but he would never tell Chestnut that.
● Chestnut and Kestrel first met when Kestrel "trespassed" on her territory
● Winter was harsh and kestrel was forced to "trespass again"
● Two bonded after Chestnut invited the tom in and talked and talked for a couple of weeks
● Chestnut found herself pregnant
:purplebutterflybullet: Kithood :purplebutterflybullet:

It was almost the end of leaf bare when Chestnut had her own three bundles of fur. This was her second kitting, her first being with another tom who took their kits with him after he found another she-cat. She was not old, and was sure to have more litters in the future. Kestrel was pleased, but he was not really ready to take on fatherhood just yet. You see, Kestrel was a relatively young tom. He didn't want kits -- Especially with a she-cat whom of which was not his mate. He would never be suited to be a real father anyway, he was too timid. The kits grew under the eye of their protective mother who would not let them leave the den until they were one moon old. They would not listen of course, and would sneak out when their mum was not paying much attention or asleep. Finally they were allowed out.

Cricket, the oldest and the only she-cat, was a bit hesitant to step outside at first. She was the most fragile little kit you could meet, even managing to twist a paw due to falling on it the wrong way when she was much younger (it healed as good as before, but she has a general weakness in all her paws). She was a quiet, helpful little thing that always protested but never dared to argue. Her brothers on the other paw were jumping off trees in excitement. It was when Cricket began to feel more comfortable did she wander off on her own, doing her own thing and not wanting to mess with her younger brothers. She loved to watch the birds and follow them through the forest, but one day she found herself dangling in the claws of one of the most fierce members of the rogue group nearby. Cricket was nearly killed if it wasn't for her mother swooping in to fight him off. Their father, Kestrel, grabbed his kittens and ran away and hid in a tree. They stayed there for a day or so until Kestrel was convinced that Chestnut was dead. They killed her. He didn't know what to do! He looked down at the wide eyes of the questioning kittens and sighed, deciding to leave them by Oakclan for them to be safe. Safety he couldn't provide

:purplebutterflybullet: Clan life :purplebutterflybullet:

While her brothers settled in neatly to Clan life, making friends and becoming the life of the social party, Cricketkit spent most of her time curled up in the back of the nursery, too fearful and upset to take part in all the fun. It felt like her fault that their mother was gone and their father had left them in this new place with so many cats she didn't know, so she often shrunk away from invitations to play or avoided some kits all together. This fearful nature didn't go unnoticed however, so by the time her brother's were made apprentices, it was decided that Cricketkit would remain in the nursery until she adjusted to clan life and began to socialise a little, as it was important for an apprentice to be able to trust their clanmates after all. The red brown kit watched her brothers become apprentices, apprehensive at the idea of them leaving camp without her, but not enough to push her to follow them. As more kits filled the nursery however, the she-cat began to realise just how silly it was to try and hide in the nursery all her life when cats younger than herself were taking on the challenge of the forest. She decided at that point to try a little harder to make a few friends and maybe catch up with her brothers.

Cricketkit began to take other kits offers to play and managed to get involved in their conversations. She met many cats and made three friends; in Nettlekit, a tom around her age whose soft but friendly demeanor made them quick buddies; Rabbitpaw, a close friend of Robin's who she met confined to the medicine den eager for a partner to chat with; and Whisperpaw, an older apprentice whose warm tone, many stories and wisdom won over Cricket very quickly. Outside of these three, she played many games and became acquaintances with many kits and apprentices, though many noticed her reluctance to leave camp or even become an apprentice. Rabbitpaw suggested she may make a good medicine cat, but that attempt went very awry when Cricket encountered a newly joined warrior Oats who's nasty attitude and dismissal of the young she-kit left her in tears. Robinpaw tried to comfort her but this only led to a conversation confirming her fear that Robin also blamed her for their mother's death, leaving Cricket in even worse of a mood.

But soon, after Falconpaw's prompting, they made up and the next day Robinpaw, with Nettlekit's help, put on a play, with other cats in camp, just for Cricketkit to convince her to not be so afraid of leaving camp. While it was goofy, it was a huge confidence boost to the little she-kit who felt she couldn't let down her friends after they put so much belief in her. She played games, learnt how to climb the great oak with Nettlekit's guidance, and tried her best to help her friends and brothers through all the relationship drama which seemed to circle them day after day. She even snuck out of camp once (bravely sticking right to Falcon's side the entire time) for the sake of her friend Whisperpaw. While there was a sickness in camp, Cricket managed to avoid all but a small sniffle and sneeze that seemed to linger over a few weeks. The only other notable event being that she has adopted a caterpillar named Bumble.Jr [ after the late Bumble, a dead bumblebee she found ] which she checks daily in camp.
● Cricket, Robin and Falcon born in this litter
● Father was young and didn't really want kittens
● Kept inside nest until they were one moon old
● Rogue cat killed mother
● Father thought he could not provide enough safety and left the kits by Oakclan
● Joined Oakclan
● Hid in the nursery and didn't socialise with any kits
● Remained a kit while her brothers were made apprentices
● More kits joined the nursery and Cricketkit made the choice to try and make friends
● Met many kits and apprentices in camp through conversation and games
● Made friends in Nettlekit, Rabbitpaw and Whisperpaw
● Had hopes to become a med apprentice so she didn't have to fight and hunt, only to give up after the mean words of warrior Oats
● Had a small argument with her brother over how she was to blame for their mother's death - but made up later
● Watched a 'play' hosted by her brother Robin and Nettle to convince her the outside wasn't so scary
● Started to play games and take part in camp, avoiding most of the drama between the apprentices except for comforting her friends and brothers
● Learnt to climb a tree with Nettlekit
● Adopted a caterpillar called Bumble.Jr

:purplebutterfly: Roleplay Example :purplebutterfly:

TGB Roleplay - Altair and Marzipan - My longest post size preferably, I usually adapt to my partner's length

It was almost a relief to be able to walk in the sun without feeling as if the burning light in the sky wasn't trying to scorch the fur off the tom’s back, the adolescent thought as he walked into the open plains from the shelter of the forest. His fur was always a short and manageable length but even with his pale fur, spending summer in Void-tribe had been a suffocating smog of hot air as the sun’s heat would creep into all the stone and rock and cook the camp from every side. It was during this time, Altair found hunting and testing his powers in the cool forests of the neutral lands more pleasurable, preferring to be on his own ever since his best friend had been pretty much exiled from Void-tribe. His tattoo had changed as easily as the colours of the leaves in the trees and she hadn’t been there to see it.

A loud caw caught the adolescent’s attention, his pale blue eyes snapping on the sight of a flock of birds. Catching one or two of these would be a nice meal for his tribe mates, he thought, licking his lips at the thought of eating one. He usually caught his own meal and he so did love to play with birds feathers despite how kit-ish that seemed to his friends. Stalking up to one that had wandered away from the crowd, he lay low and focused quietly to activate his tattoo, the white-pink swirls lighting up his face and chest. Evaline had been teaching him to use his powers and the next one he wanted to master was the ability to manipulate the shape of matter, so this was a good opportunity to practise. Trying his best to focus on the ground under the bird, he tried to pull it up and around the bird’s feet to trap it in place, knowing if this worked then he’d be able to catch the entire flock before they even noticed and flapped their wings. But even as the ground began to slightly shift under his control, the bird seemed to hop away without so much as a care, leaving the white-pink-void to huff with a sigh, his tattoo flaring out. He would probably need weeks to learn to change the shape of things from a distance and with such speed to ensnare a creature, but until then he supposed he would have to manually hunt like every other cat.

But with such a flock all busy with pecking the ground, he knew just catching one would mean all the others would be alerted and escape. He flicked his tail, his ears almost twitching with all the loud and almost taunting calls of the birds before picking up a less musical tune in the form of a whine. A whine from a feline if he had to guess. He looked around slowly, but wasn’t able to see another cat standing around at his eye level, leaving him to wonder if he had imagined it.
